SAFETY PROTOCOLS ANNOUNCED FOR ACME 2021 ACS NATIONAL POOL CHAMPIONSHIPS !

MASKS REQUIRED !

Per the guidelines established most recently by the Nevada Governor and our host venue – the Westgate Resort & Casino, and for the safety of our players – the ACS must require our attendees to follow these safety protocols throughout the ACME ACS National Championships:

▪ Masks are required throughout the building and tournament venue at all times with two exceptions:
• You are not required to wear a mask (but we request that you do) while playing a match on an assigned table(s) or practicing at an open table.
• Concessions and Bars will be available – you cannot consume food or drinks unless you are seated at a table.
▪ Hand sanitizers and anti-bacterial wipes will be available at every pool table. You and your teammates are requested to please clear the player table and wipe down the pool table rails, player table(s) used and chairs after completing your match – as a safety courtesy to matches following yours.
▪ Please use your own personal chalk for your matches, and remove after play.
▪ Souvenir ACS-branded Face Masks are available for $10 at Registration for those w/o one. Face masks are also provided at the various Westgate entrances.
▪ All attendees and staff must social distance at least 3 feet at all times.
▪ Please support our tournament vendors, but be mindful of minimizing congestion (social distancing) in all areas throughout the Championships, including ACS Registration.

2021 ACS Nationals Dress Code

DRESS CODE: Sleeved shirts of polo/golf-style or button-down style with a conventional fold-over
collar are required. T-shirts and sweatshirts are not allowed. Players may wear conventional-style hats.
Hats/Visors/Caps are allowed with the bill facing forward. No knit hats, stocking caps, or any other
headgear. Ear buds, cell phones, etc. are not permitted. Men must wear long pants or neat, clean, untorn
jeans. Warm-up suits and jogging suits are not allowed. Women may wear dress pants, Capri-style
pants, or neat, clean, untorn jeans, culottes, and skirts or sleeved dresses (of conservative length). Men
and women must wear clean, neat, close-toed shoes at all times. Should a player require a footwear
exception for medical reasons, the player must provide a letter on official letterhead from the player’s
health care provider before the tournament (and keep a copy of the letter available for review by a
referee at all times; if requested).
• Dress code must meet the Singles competition requirements in all divisions.
• Scotch Doubles. Matching shirts are not mandatory, but preferred.
• TEAM SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED. MUST BE MATCHING, COLOR, LOGO, ETC.
